The training, resourcefulness, and creativity of the Special Forces soldier make him capable of jobs that few other soldiers can handle, in situations where traditional arms and movement don t apply. Carl Stiner was only the second commander of SOCOM, the U.S. Special Operations Command responsible for the readiness of all the special operations forces of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, including the Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Rangers, Delta Force, Air Force Special Operations, PsyOps, and Civil Affairs. bad card credit credit
Stiner and Clancy trace the transformation of the Special Forces from the small core of outsiders of the 1950s through the cauldron of Vietnam to the rebirth of the SF in the late 1980s and the 1990 as the bearer of the largest, most mixed, and most complex set of mission in the US military. From Vietnam and Laos to Panama, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq, these are stories of raids, couterterrorism, hostage rescues, reconnaissance, counterinsurgency, and psychological operations -- and also of building settlements, teaching civilians, cleaning up water supplies, and saving lives. This is a front-row seat to a man, an institiution, and a way of war and peace that make this an instant classic of military history. bad car credit loan

Most recent 3 reviews out of 3 Shadow Warriors [abr] Submitted by Mary McGuire I typically love non-fiction books, love military books and love Tom Clancy s books . . . so it surprised even me when I really couldn t get into this audiobook. It was more like a long recitation of indistinguishable facts than a story. When I think back on it I can only remember a droning voice talking at me rather like that mind numbingly bad history professor I had my freshman year in college . . . bad credit loan mortgage
Improves as the story unfolds Submitted by AC in San Diego, This book begins slowly and meanders through many topics, but if you can get through this, an intriguing story unfolds. Although the story is interesting, this book suffers an identity crisis and lacks a cohesive plot. Fascinating Submitted by LPM A great book, I love to learn about history from the men that were there. Rent Buy DL Club auto bad credit loan

He was determined to make Leigh care for him, but there were no guarantees that his love could protect her from the very thing she feared most. Customer Reviews Review This BookMost recent 5 reviews out of 6 Shadows of Yesterday Submitted by Helen I am a huge fan of Sandra Brown, but I really found this story tedious. I didn t find the characters terribly convincing and guessed the ending long before it happened. I get the feeling that this was one of Sandra Brown s earlier novels; I think that some of her more recent novels are more powerful and engaging. bad credit mortgage refinance
GREAT Submitted by Charity Moore This is a good book for someone who likes a good romance that can take you out of your world for just a little while. It is a sweet romance. cm Submitted by Anonymous in Chino Hills, This was an interesting story line. The presentation was enjoyable. Submitted by Anonymous in Stevenson Ranch, I have no idea how I finished the book. It was terrible. Not a bad story line, but the characters drove me nuts. The words they used are not realistic and the sex scenes were just plain ridiculous because no one really speaks in the manner that Chad Dillon talks. I would not recommend this book. bad credit refinance

Amazing writing Rushdie s use of language is amazing. I could picture every detail of the characters and setting as clearly as if I was there myself. Submitted by Paul Burnore in McDonough, This book is outstanding in every way. Rushdie is a master story teller and prose stylist who creates characters who are unforgettable. This man even made geology sound interesting. I think this is a fascinating book if even to glean more scientific data about how we work as humans and how our world exists...still does not answer why. I was happy I had rented it.
