Its high-resolution, flat-panel, color LCD screen boasts a special anti-reflective coating that, in side-by-side comparisons, offers the clearest, brightest picture of any GPS chart plotter on the market today, even in intense direct sunlight. In field tests, the MK 40 consistently achieved position accuracy within 9 feet without differential error corrections and 30 inches with the optional built-in DGPS beacon module.
