After 60 days there was no statistical difference between Ketac-Endo and Apexit (p > 0.05), but between AH-Plus and Apexit there was a significant difference. The conclusion drawn from this experiment was that epoxy resin root canal sealer was found to be more adaptable to the root canal wall and filling material than GI sealer and calcium hydroxide sealer when bacterial coronal leakage was studied.

Bad Credit Loan Mortgage                       It has been previously shown that root canal sealer can be forced into a very thin layer by mechanical compaction of warm gutta-percha. The purpose of the present study was to compare the apical microleakage of root canal filled by injection warm gutta-percha (Obtura II, Obtura Corporation, MO, USA.) and warm vertical condensing gutta-percha (Touch n' Heat, Analytic Technology, WA, USA). Glass-ionomer cement (Ketec-Endo, Espe , Seefeld. Germany) was used as a root canal sealer . The experiment was carried out in single human premolar teeth. Thirty teeth were divided into 2 groups of 15 teeth, with 3 teeth out of each group was used as a control (no sealer use). The first group was injected into the root canal with thermoplasticized gutta-percha . The second group was filled with warm vertical condensed gutta-percha .Before obturation in both groups, the teeth were irrigated with 17% EDTA followed by NaOCl to remove the smear layer .The teeth were kept in desicated jar at 37 °C and 100% humidity for 2 days. The apical leakage test was measured using fluid transportation technique which described by Timpawat and Vongsavan ( J. Dent Res.(spec. iss.) 76:937, 1998). Apical microleakage was measured by following the movement of an air bubble in a capillary tube ( internal diameter 300 mm) after the pressures of 200 Hg were applied to the system. The means microleakage of fluid of group 1 and 2 were11.15 nl/s (SD ± 9.99) and 1.81 nl/s (SD ± 0.67) respectively. Result showed that there was statistical differences between the groups that filled with warm vertical condensation and injected gutta-percha (Student-t-test, P < 0.05). Hence we conclude that the technique in condensing gutta-percha has effect on sealability of gutta- percha that used with Ketac-Endo when the smear layer was removed.
