I have owned the zune for the last four months. It is an awesome device. It has an awesome screen. Videos are great to watch on it. The Radio tells you the name of the station. I would drop your iPods to get a zune. The album art and user interface in the using the zune is a total different and entertaining experience. I waited for this unit for a year and I finailly got one the screen is crystal clear and the sound is great now I watch my favorite movies where ever I go. and the AV setup is great also. I will never go back to ipod to many problems as for now no problems with the Zune. I ve been feeding my cd collection (200+ cds) into my computer and hated not having all my collection on one device. I thought it was time to get one of the hard drive based mp3 players so this was my criteria; -had to have fm tuner (which the ipod doesn t) -had to play wmv, acc, mp3 (i didn t like how itunes copies and converts my wmv collection taking up double the space on my computer) -30gig or more I took a chance on the Zune which meets these features PLUS has the 3 screen, plays wmv, mp4 video, and jpeg photos. It took my itunes collection no problem (except of course the DRM collection). The negative: -I don t like the Zune software, seems very redudant since Windows Media Player does all the same stuff. I just use Media player to do all my cd ripping and then sync it with the zune software. I m hoping that Microsoft allows for syncing with Media player later. -can t use it for file storage like the ipod. hey microsoft, um duh bad decision there. -the user interface isn t as elegant as the ipod, but still easy to use. -although wifi for this is a cool idea, it is pretty useless right now since it doesn t do anything. Overall I m happy with it. I m hoping with some more tweaking from microsoft, they will deliver some updates which will free up memory for file sharing, add some functionality to the wifi, and allow a little more freedom with Media Player. bad card credit credit

All the talk about the different versions of this display ( S, A, C, and the one made in Mexico) are true I ve found. All except the S model are simply inferior in terms of color AND performance (see behardware.com for indepth reviews). I got a C model and the colors are way off (very blue dominated) and I m having a hard time calibrating it well. Chances are you will end up with a C model or the one made in Mexico (which also has poor color compared to the S) since no one seems to be getting the S anymore. However, I bought it knowing about those problems anyway, because I m not that concerned with true color. I don t think anybody who needs professional color rendering will find anything in this price range anyway. I just wanted a nice, clear 22 display and this looks just fine to me, as it does to most folks. If you need true colors you had better look elsewhere. I got mine and checked out the back, to find that it was manufactured in June 2007. Although I couldn t verify the manufacturer of the panel (It s missing from both the on-screen dev menu, as well as the back), I am sure that this is a Samsung model. The colors are all bright and crisp, with no particular dominance, even at factory settings. The contrast is incredible, which is great for reading PDFs or online newspapers. Gameplay performance is even more amazing, with no ghosting whatsoever and brilliant performance from the Game MagicBright setting. Watching movies is an equal joy, especially HD, which really shines on this panel. I highly recommend this display to anyone looking for a beautiful, massive, and well-priced monitor. I could not get a straight answer on if it was included. Even the Samsung website says it is not included in factory packaging, so I ordered a DVI cable as well. The owners manual is poor but everything worked as it should. Bottom line I would buy this unit again. About buy.com, got an excellent price. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 A Customer from Huntersville, NC As I expected, the Samsung 226BW 22 Widescreen LCD Display is a superb monitor. Until now I ve been using the Samsung 955DF 19 CRT (Cathode Ray Tube), which is a heavy monitor that takes up a lot of real estate on my desk. It s still a great monitor and I will keep it as a spare. I ve waited until now to buy an LCD Flat Panel because the really good LCD monitors were always a bit expensive as compared to CRT s and their refresh rates were also not as good. Having a 2ms response rate as well as a very low dot pitch, this monitor is easier on my eyes causing little or no eye strain. The colors are vibrant; images and text are clear and sharp. There is no flicker whatsoever on this monitor, which I did get with the CRT, even with the refresh rate set to 90Hz. The monitor controls are also easily accessible. What I really like is the monitor s ability to accept a DVI and VGA input at the same time. My Tower s ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card has a DVI output. My Server is an older machine and only has VGA output. I can run both machines at the same time and switch between sources using the Source control button on the monitor. It doesn t bother me, but I noticed it after reading another review. Using an XFX 6200 video card and works ok.
